Hereby we have the pleasure to invite you to Eskilstuna International Open 2002. The will take place at our airfield Ekeby close to Eskilstuna during the 6:th to the 11:th of may 2002. The contest cover the following  FAI-classes: Open, 18-meter, 15-meter, Standard and Club.

This year we will try a new idea. If a request we can arrange an afternoon pick up crew in case of an out landing. The reason for this is to lure competitors who may not be able to arrange a pick-up crew for themselves. The price for this service will be 1000 SEK for the whole week.

Last day for submission of your application is april 19:th 2002, but we may accept a few more applications after that date. The entry fee is SEK 500 for juniors (born 1977 or later) and SEK 1300 for seniors. The entry fee shall be available on our account at the same date. Payment instructions will be found our homepage later, and will also be sent to all applicants. The application is not complete until the entry fee is paid. Supplementary details will be sent out to the applicants by the end of april.

More information about competition rules etc and some "nice to know info" is available as .doc files. They are the same documents as the ones we send out to all registered pilots.

How do you find the airfield? Try this on-line service. Submit your home adress or use "advanced" and submit the coordinates for your starting point. Click on "Get directions" and you will get a map and detailed driving directions.

You can find a list over the waypoints we will use here. They are the same as for the contest held in 2000.
